Brian Nick

Education Brian received a B.A. in economics and government from Dartmouth College and an M.A. in economics from New York University.

Professional history Brian is Head of Tactical Asset Allocation within the CIO Investment Strategy Group at UBS Wealth Management Americas. He provides advice to investors regarding market developments, asset allocation and short- and long-term investment opportunities.

Brian joined UBS in 2010. Prior to UBS, he worked as an investment strategist at Barclays and Lehman Brothers, where he covered a variety of asset classes and was responsible for modeling the firm's tactical asset allocation. Prior to joining Lehman Brothers, Brian worked for five years in the Markets Group at the Federal Reserve Bank of New York, where he covered European markets and FX and helped manage the Fed's portfolio. He has written numerous advisory pieces for private clients relating to economics, asset allocation and investment strategy.
