Bill Carroll is the Central Division Director of the Client Advisory Group for UBS Wealth Management Americas (WMA). He is responsible for all of the branch offices in the central portion of the United States, which includes 12 markets, with over 1,500 financial advisors and $200 billion in client assets.

Bill has also been entrusted to lead UBS ASPIRE; a firm wide global effort with a focus on creating the industry's best culture for employees, clients and shareholders.

Bill is a Managing Director, and a member of the Wealth Management Americas Executive Committee, Americas Operating Committee and UBS Political Action Committee Board.

In helping advisors take their business to the next level

Bill brings more than 31 years of industry experience to this role, having spent a combined 25 years as a Financial Advisor, Branch Manager and Regional Director. After moving to the home office in 2010, Bill served as the National Sales Manager for WMA and then led the Advice & Solutions business for over 2 years, and was instrumental in creating the House View Portfolio, which today is approaching $2 billion in assets under management. In May of 2014, Bill was selected to lead the financial advisor group in the west and in July of 2016, he was selected to lead the group in the central division. No matter his role, Bill leverages his field experience in every decision he makes. His mission is simple, as well as FA centric and client focused – senior management and field leaders should bring to bear all the global resources of UBS for our FAs to create a better outcome for clients.

Early years

Prior to joining UBS, Bill spent 9 years at Smith Barney, first as a Financial Advisor and then in a variety of field management positions, including Branch Office Manager, Regional Sales Manager for the Mid-Atlantic Region and Divisional Sales Manager for the Northeast Division. He began his financial services career in 1984 as a Financial Advisor with Merrill Lynch.

Personal

Bill and his wife of 30 years this October, Pat, reside in Wayne, New Jersey and have two children. Kelly graduated from Montclair State University and is a certified Yoga instructor in Northern New Jersey. Ryan is a 2015 graduate from Fordham University Gabelli School of Business and was a 4 year member of the varsity baseball team. He is currently the Co-founder of Bathgate Partners, a technology and app development company and resides in Northern New Jersey.
