We purchased a 28% stake in July of 2008, with Roth Privatstiftung (a trust held by the founding family), retaining ownership of the remaining shares. The company focuses on the collection, treatment, recycling and disposal of municipal, commercial and industrial waste in Austria, Hungary, Slovenia, Czech Republic and Germany. Saubermacher’s business is underpinned by strong core operations in Austria and a diversified and stable base of over 1,600 municipalities and 42,000 industrial and commercial customers.
